How It All Started!
Paula was blessed to grow up in a small town surrounded by her grandparents and great-grandparents. Naturally, she was drawn to senior citizens and by the age of six she was stopping by her neighborhood nursing home to visit her “friends.” They enjoyed meals and activities together but most of all, Paula loved listening to their stories.
Throughout her life, Paula remained connected to the senior community. Without a doubt, she says her most important and appreciated contribution was always simply listening. When hearing someone tell of a fascinating life experience, the idea that the story might not be passed down and lost forever prompted Paula to create "The Lifebook" to help people document their history.
A word from the Founder, Paula Northington:
I created My Life My Stories as a fun and easy way to document life experiences, pass along wisdom from lessons learned and keep history alive for generations! I've ensured pricing is affordable for everyone to take advantage of this worthwhile, brain-motivating activity which can be enjoyed alone, in a group setting, and as an interview-style with loved ones or with a caretaker.
Providing peace of mind that your sentimental keepsake is always kept safe by storing it electronically was also imperative! Now you and your appointed loved ones have access to your family history from anywhere at any time and it's always available to create beautiful, display worthy hardbound copies in the future.
My hope is to have this book touch as many lives as possible, creating a lasting bond between generations and promoting a sense of belonging to our shared human experience.
Cheers,
Paula
